Oldest tree in Seyvan Village

The area of Ilam province is equal to 20,133 square kilometers. It is the 22nd largest province of Iran. The geographical coordinates of Ilam Province are 33.638531° North and 46.422649° East. Ilam province is located in the west of the Zagros mountain range and borders Kurdistan (in Iraq) from the west, Khuzestan province (Iran) from the south, Lorestan province (Iran) from the east, and Kermanshah province (Iran) from the north.

Unfortunately, in recent years, the forests of this province have faced many problems. Some of these problems are completely solvable. Some of these problems depend on global factors . In parallel, we are trying to help solve environmental problems related to oak forests in Ilam province and in other regions of the world.
